It's on our to-do list now, we just haven't gotten around to doing this yet because spritefonts in MonoGame have a fixed size, and we can't change it in-game unless we change the way fonts are handled in the first place.

The RMesh format was slightly changed around 1.3, so some of the new rooms are incompatible with the WYSIWYG editor since it hasn't been updated for some time. You could either hope that someone will feel like fixing it, or use older versions of the meshes that don't load.

The converter isn't designed to be all that stable since it's just a developer tool, if you want to pinpoint any errors that pop up you should be running it through the Blitz3D debugger. why bother porting the game anymore Blitz3D is open source; users could dedicate their time to trying to port it to OpenGL or a more modern version of DirectX There are people that already did this The only person that was making reasonable progress in updating Blitz3D's renderer died of an aneurys...

You don't need to ask for permission to recreate the game, the CC-BY-SA license allows it as long as you use the same license and credit the original authors of the game and the articles it's based on.
