Re: File access denied when trying to remove the folder

Create a .ini file in your Barotrauma folder that contains the following: takeown /f * Then, run that file. If it's successful, you should be able to delete the files. If that doesn't work, try running the file as administrator, and then deleting the files as administrator. If that still doesn't wor...

As for the launcher, we probably need to rewrite it.

Re: Dedicated crash server

This report seems to suggest that you're using an old version of the .NET framework. Barotrauma is built to use 4.5 (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653), and we might need to update this in the future, so getting 4.6.2 might also be a good idea.

That might be the blur effect, which uses a similar technique.

Re: Security Monitors are just a bunch of programs - FPS cut in half by the game?

To render the image displayed on CCTVs, the game renders everything from each camera's perspective onto the back buffer and copies the image data into a texture (rendering to a separate buffer would be better, but Blitz3D doesn't support that). The Steam overlay seems to detect every single draw cal...

Re: RMesh importer for fragMOTION

Of what I understood it is an alternative has world studio? No. This is mostly a tool for port developers who want to have access to the latest versions of the rooms without having to write an RMesh importer for their projects, and it will not allow you to create rooms in the same way 3D World Stud...

RMesh importer for fragMOTION

http://i.imgur.com/ofiRalr.png This would've been useful a few years ago. Only imports the main meshes (drawn/collision), doesn't include triggerboxes or point entities simply because there's no good way to represent them in fragMOTION. On top of that, fragMOTION doesn't support multiple texture co...

You only need to compile Main.bb, as it includes the other files.

Re: Help - Compiling .bb files to replace item names/death messages

Oh hey, it's you again. iirc MrPeanut's guide mentioned that Blitz3D's default IDE is trash, so he'd be using IDEal. Nowadays I just use the default IDE (mostly because my modified copy of the engine completely breaks IDEal so I don't have a choice), so to run in Debug Mode just make sure "Pro...
