When I try them to generate automatically their gaps do something like, um, the gaps won't let water go from above to below, since the gap generate it's arrow to the right, not for either above or below as in case of Aegir Mark IV. Depends how you connected the docking port. Docking ports take in power, the power output should be wired only to the batteries input. When the docking port is connected to the rest of the shuttles power systems the power will try to go through the docking port, but since that power has nowhere to g...

Having batteries connected to the grid would help a lot, don't forget to set them to charge.

Currently BT runs only on one core so 1.3 Hz won't do really and an integrated graphics card slows it even more.
It is planned but it doesn't seem like they are focusing on it currently.
