I am planning on making a game based on 008. It will be made on the GameGuru Engine.
But I have an idea for the backstory. "Log #1, 2019. Dr. Krachnet: Shit, we're going to need multiple Mobile-Task-Forces for this. SCP-008 has escaped containment, well, at least a sample of it has. We need to find this, and neutralize it before it can cause any harm." (MADE BY: SYPHENTV)

It has not been worked on yet.
It is most likely to be started on July 3rd.
Give me your opinions if it should be open world, story only, what the story should be about, and if there should be weapons.
But I have an idea for the backstory. "Log #1, 2019. Dr. :REDACTED:. We need multiple task forces for this mission. SCP-008 has somehow got into the water systems. We can't let humans drink it. If they do.......we are all dead"
Tell me what you think of this idea.

Well, Open-World would be a bit interesting. Sort of a Zombie-like survival with an SCP infecting the world. I don't see how the player would survive though. Sort of like "The Forest" you need to survive. A Story-Mode kind of thing would be cool. Have a thing that the player can be a part of. You would have to make it interesting though. Weapons are debatable. If it is open world survival/horror, I guess weapons are kind of a necessity. If it's just story mode, then Weapons are optional. Adding weapons to a story mode can dictate the gameplay. While if a game has no weapons, the player would have a sense of fear, since they (probably) can't protect themselves. If they do, it get's rid of that aspect.

SCP-008 is not airborne or waterborne. I would change it to something like this:

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Just an example.

SCP-008 isn't waterborne.
Hmmm. I heard that it was a number of times. Sorry for that.

Maybe a survivor story. Where you are a normal citizen trying to survive with only weapons that are not very powerful, like a stick or something. Then if you beat that then you get MTF mode with actual weapons. I will do that if the engine lets me.
And I was thinking "open world" like Dying Light. Where you have missions but you can explore at the same time.

A stick against a monster that is out for blood.

LOGIC!

But seriously, if you want to go with Open World, that's fine. I think the engine you're choosing can handle what you want to do.

Hey! I wanted to ask you real quick if you'd like any help. I got the gold edition of FPS Creator Reloaded,

which, since it was cancelled and turned into Game Guru, I got 4 of the DLC for free!

I can help with the story too if you'd like. Let me know what you think.
