Re: Guide To Compiling The Source Code
#32I might if there are some more requests to make one. I'm going to be gone for a few days, so I'll think about it.NickL4D2 wrote:Can you make a video tutorial ?

#33I turned on debug mode, and while the file size increased by about 1000kb, it does the same error, and there's no debugger.MonocleBios wrote:Doesn't work for me either.InnocentSam wrote: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/17887537/craftingmod/Main.exe
I've been running it in the executable in the SCP directory before.
Turn on debug mode in the compiler and screencap the debugger when the program crashes
Re: Guide To Compiling The Source Code
#34Did you run the program from the Blitz3D compiler with debug on?InnocentSam wrote: I turned on debug mode, and while the file size increased by about 1000kb, it does the same error, and there's no debugger.

Re: Guide To Compiling The Source Code
#35Yes. That's why the executable is bigger.MonocleBios wrote:Did you run the program from the Blitz3D compiler with debug on?InnocentSam wrote: I turned on debug mode, and while the file size increased by about 1000kb, it does the same error, and there's no debugger.
Re: Guide To Compiling The Source Code
#36Don't make an executable, just run the code directly from Blitz. The debugger should pop up on the bottom

#37The debug log shows up empty but now it shows the error "Stream does not exist"MonocleBios wrote:Don't make an executable, just run the code directly from Blitz. The debugger should pop up on the bottom

#38Copy the contents of your SCP:CB directory (sub-directories and all) to the location of the source codeInnocentSam wrote: The debug log shows up empty but now it shows the error "Stream does not exist"

#39I thought I did that, but I forgot to include fastext.dll and such and such :3MonocleBios wrote:Copy the contents of your SCP:CB directory (sub-directories and all) to the location of the source codeInnocentSam wrote: The debug log shows up empty but now it shows the error "Stream does not exist"
Same error, "Memory access violation", but the debug log says this: Is it possible that I have an outdated version of FastExt.bb?
I think I found the problem. Quote from another forum:
I have version 1.17 of FastExt and version 1.90 of Blitz3D (I thinK)Problem solved; It was all this time my own fault, which was about using an outdated version of blitz3D and Fastext combined.
Ignore this thread and banish it from existence :(
Re: Guide To Compiling The Source Code
#40Okay found the problem. You need to have version 1.106 of Blitz3D and version 1.17 of FastExt, otherwise you get my error :3
