Future Horror is set in the indefinite future and focuses to provide a more futuristic and scarier experience of SCP: Containment Breach

I am open to suggestions and will review any contributions to see if they fit in the mod. If they do they will be added in the next version and you will be credited in the "CREDITS" section. If there are enough people to credit I will add a credits file to the mod.

Instructions:

Simple:
Download, Extract and Launch.

Detailed:
1. Download and Extract the file. You don't need anything like WinZip or 7-Zip as Windows (File) Explorer Unzips .zip files.
2. If it is a patch take the files and copy or move them into the base folder of the original game where the .exe and all the other things like the GFX folder, the readme file and so on are found and replace any existing files when prompted. Otherwise you would not be modifying anything. If the extracted folder is not a Patch (usually older versions) just extract and go to step 3.
3. Use the normal SCP .exe as you would without the mod or the Box of Horrors .exe if installed and compatable.

Things To Note:
Installing the drinks is the same, but if you want to get just the custom ones you have to go in the SCP-294.ini file and copy the indicated text.
NoBox means that the file doesn't have Box of Horrors, which is an extension mod created by InnocentSam and juanjpro.
Box of Horrors is compatible with newer versions up to 1.2.3 (Based on 0.8.0b).
If you want a smaller download take the Patches...
Previous Versions and some 7-Zip Versions (Smaller Downloads) are available.

Bug Reports:

SUMMARY: Dont play any versions below 1.1 FH1 NoBox

Old bugs:
I recommend NOT playing the intro in 1.0 FH1 because of the guardconvo bug...
First Time Loading caused a crash for me-It said loadingscreens missing...
I tried to use spawn 096 in the console and a Memory Access Violation Came Up-I hated that bug and still hate it so ~Crash
I tried to spawn SCP-096 because I edited the texture a bit... I do not know if this was temporary or just a major bug... It failed to load 096_1 in SFX...
This has happened in Future Horror for: 096_1, 096_3 and Forest so far

One speeded up and one has a prickely weird creepy tune... I personally think the weird one is better... Just rename the one you want (Default is the weird one)

WHAT IS IT?
SCP - Future Horror is a collaborative mod with BOH about the future of the SCP Foundation after it recovered from the containment breach in the original game. The mod itself takes place in 2214, far in the future. The SCP's themselves have changed over the years, as well as the introduction to Ao-ju No Tenshi (Dubbed SCP-3000 by the Foundation), a strange, myserious being from an alternate dimension, opposite of SCP-682. The musical soundtrack of the mod includes the amazing music of Kow Otani, Komiko Noma, Aubrey Hodges, and Martin O' Donnel (who have been given credit, of course!).

Here are the mod's features:

Some of the SCP's have injuries and additional features. The SCPs' injuries and extra features are listed below.

-SCP-173 has a large bullethole in its right eye, and the red krylon spay paint markings on its face are larger. As of v0.8.2, there is a massive hole where its right eye was.

-SCP-049 has one cybernetic eye.

-SCP-106 has yellowish baring teeth, and red eyes. As of v0.8.2, he has white markings on his body, because of the radiation emitted from SCP-3000.

-SCP-049-1 zombies have a more decayed appearance, and have enhanced walking speed (1.999).

-SCP-372 now possesses its mysterious sensory organ from Sylocat's description of SCP-372.

-SCP-096 has a scar going down his eyebrow.

Regular NPC's also have different qualities.

-The guards and MTF's have more body armor. The MTF's also have a cybernetic voice, and speak in a "classified dialect."

-The Class-D personnel wear their infamous "camera masks" from the early versions of the game.

Other features

-The Apache's rotors and propellers have been removed and it's flying sound was replaced with a droning sound, so that way the SCP Foundation Apaches will seem to be closer to hovercrafts than helicopters.

-The map textures are modified to add a futuristic feeling.

-Multiple sound effects are remade, such as the tesla gate's charging sound, and nearly all of the horror sounds, as well as all of the music (minus "Groaning Ambience", which I will change in a future update).

-New drinks added (beans, dragon blood, and "satan in a cup")

Out of curiosity, it says you had permission to bundle Box of Horrors with this but did juanjpro actually do that?

Because personally, I think it makes more sense to have it like this:
  • User downloads SCP:CB the vanilla game
  • User downloads Box of Horrors
  • User downloads Future Horror
In that order, as opposed to:
  • User downloads Future Horror, requiring a full 500MB download.
If you want to cut the filesize, then just have a download like Box of Horrors where it's just drag-and-drop the modded files. That way you get more users because they don't have to spend ages downloading a huge zip file that contains lots of files they already have.

I never said they had permission to use it, but I never said anything against it. It says "BoxOfHorrors" all over it anyway so I don't think it matters that much.

Hm, I thought he was... I'll edit it.
I thought he was because he was using Box Of Horrors and often says thing in the thread...
I was planning to make a proper old version link and a new one with BOH though should I just make The Future Horror and the people that download it get BOH from the original topic?

Technically yeah I agree; but you don't have to delete the entire 500 MB thing; it works well too. Just upload a small version for those that can't afford downloading big files. Like me.

I already have made the Old 0.9.3.11 One...
That one you need to add to your Box Of Horror with 1.0.3 Folder and ONLY Copy all the Loadingscreens, GFX and SFX


Take The 1.0.4 patch and extract everything in Your Future Horror Folder
