There is no document. But as far as i'm aware i'm not quite sure if 096 would perceive 173 to be a living thing. If it did, well, i'm sure it would most likely end in 173's destruction.

What if SCP 096 actually has no control over those actions? By which I mean, running after those who saw it and hunting them down to eat them. It is the one screaming as it runs towards you, or sat down hunched over, or walking around in a depressed manor. It's probably not remotely that good of a theory, but the idea that SCP 096 doesn't want to hurt, and that it upsets it when it does. What if it was once human?

Although the scp wiki recently talked about using SCP-173 and a picture of SCP-096 to help kill SCP-682. Obviously they couldn't do that experiment because it would cause a containment breach and we all know how those go, especially with 682 running amok. Seems like someone thought of this idea before with exception of using it to kill the ever-living lizard
