I agree too.
Guns should be an optional content, but not part of the real game from the start.
Unless it gets DNA encoded as others suggested so it won't work, or will shock you when trying to pick it up.

What about this gun?

SCP-127

It's an SCP, so it wouldn't be too out of the ordinary to find it somewhere in the facility. " it takes between 3-5 days to regrow a new supply of ammunition." - so maybe it only has a few 'bullets' left, and when they run out that's it, you can't use it anymore.

If not in the main game then it would make a great mod.

I think i remember when someone suggested that last time, don't think it went very well.
