The blood/feces seems more like it accrues over time, rather than leaking off 173 all the time.

I would say maybe some blood here and there but no more.

Just enough to make the player become anxious, knowing 173 is either in the room, or was.

To make a difference, we could always make the stuff 106 leaves behind harmful to the player, as it still contains some of the corrosive powers. I've actually always expected that to happen, and been jumping over or at least evading those dark spots and cracks he left behind. We got med kits now anyway.

Yeah that would be a good addition to the game, but medkits... are useful for an unknown corrosive substance?
