But seriously. Would you actually want to see 096 casually walk around the facility? We all know he won't stay in that small sever room permanently.
How would that work without it meaning certain death? You would NEED the chance to be able to look away when noticing him.


Maybe you could hear him before you see him, 096_1.OGG would play and maybe you could hear footsteps.

Or maybe he could be covering his face when you see him and if you get too close he uncovers it.

Hey there.

In the Skype Group..

Me, Serimah and ShadowDust were discussing SCP-096 when we listened to the 096 Sounds provided by Omniary.

I then showed the ones I found a while ago which is another variant of his Screams.

After listening, Serimah suggested that this could play once SCP-096 is calming down after killing a Guard as it plays his " Leaning on Wall and covering Face " Animation.

Do you have nothing to suggest about any SCP currently in the game?

How about working on the ones already in the game before talking about 20 other "cool SCPs" you read about :P

Because aside from adding stuff to him such as him pacing around, there isn't much to do to him. So instead of adding little changes, people prefer to have "brand new" SCPs.

there should be an animation in a room only available through teleport command of 096 doing the gangnam style

yes i know gangnam style was kind of clogging the 0.8 discussion but it is the only dance i can think of

he should flip the hell out when he is triggered, and i mean FLIPPED THE HELL OUT.
in other words, make him stumble around and all sorts of crazy things

What I think is that 096 should do some damage to the area around him while he's flipping out.
Maybe in the pump room, while he's stumbling around he knocks over a server, or swipes at it and takes a good chunk out of it. After he [REDACTED]'s the guard there should be a noise for him calming down, then there should be a mumbling noise, and you could be able to hear his footsteps. It would add a sense of horror to the creature, making you fear it. (Fix the face-in-a-wall as well please)

096 porn? Meh. I can tap dat.

I think his AI is a little messed up. For instance, in 682's room, 096 will not open those blast doors or run down and up the stairs, instead he tried to run across and gets stuck.

Another instance is in the Doctor's offices. If you go into Dr Maynard's room, 096 will run into Dr Harp's office and try to go through the door.

Might be waypoint issues.

I too think he should freak out alot more. Maybe have it so when you anger him in his chamber he flips out and starts swiping randomly instead of just pacing around a bit before he chases you, maybe see if there's a way to apply a slash mark decal to walls he hits.

I never was fond of 096's running animations in this game. I always imagined 096 thrashing around like a headless Necromorph, just mindlessly swinging its arms around as it ran forward.
