I wish the dynamics of wiring things would be explained. I know reactors should only be hooked up to one box, but for example, I had three reactors on completely isolated loops running different things in the boat. On one loop, the boxes would constantly short out even though the load was relatively low. I routed that circuit into a different reactor to troubleshoot and everything worked just fine even though the actual load on the system was much higher.

The map creator is "supposed" to generate a level your boat can fit through, but that apparently isn't the case with large boats. This is the one I was talking about with different circuits. Unfortunately, I found out it will get stuck at the beginning of most maps due to the level generation not adjusting for size AFTER I finished most of it.

I don't think yours is as long, but just keep it in mind. I think the boat "Piranha" from the map pack often gets stuck at the beginning for the same reason, might want to take a look at it too.
