Character Inventory

So humans can currently carry lots of stuff and even more when equipped with certain clothing items.

What about making humans have no inventory space and only getting slots when equipped with clothing items? This would make inventory more limited but it would make more sense, IMO. Maybe some clothing offer less inventory space but more armor or a speed boost, for instance. Maybe some items make swimming harder so a survivor would have to unequip an item in order to swim with no problems. Would make for some interesting survival situations.

Some items would be too big to just carry in your pockets, like other clothing items, harpoon guns, scooters, etc. But maybe we could also have a back slot, in which we could equip some of these items under the assumption they are strapped and be carried over the shoulder. Or a backpack to carry more small/medium sized items.

Some items could also stack, like chems and other tiny objects so it's not all so bad. :P

I think that idea with no inventory is ok. I would like to see that in game

Even when you remove your jumpsuit/armour/etc. your character is still wearing cargo pants. I figure that's where all your items go.

That said, even cargo pants probably can't carry a spear gun.
