Submarine Editor - Test Map Area

Basically what I wanted to suggest was in the editor, there should be a option to select a saved submarine design in which it would load it into a blank spaced cavern map with an AI crew of all classes. Doing so will speed up testing of submarine designs with navigation, ballast/engine functions, shuttles and AI waypoint actions and cut down time having to exit out of the editor and loading up the sub in the campaign menu. The cave should be randomly generated each time so as to test the sub's autopilot in certain types of vertical and horizontal spaces. Upon exiting the test map it should load up the editor again with the currently used Sub to allow immediate tweaking or changes.

One other thing, what was the function of the 'monitor' ? Was it originally intended to be used along with the Camera ?
