Actually, the game has improved by a massive margin. If you compared version 7.0 with the current version, you would barely be able to tell that they're both the same game. Just about everything has undergone a massive overhaul and improvement. The game has a ton of new content and runs relatively well compared to version 9.0 which was a mess of MAVs and bugs.
