yeah so ctrl allows you to crouch- like hiding in amnesia.
But what's the point? All the entities can see you anyways.
So can someone explain why for the love of goodness there is a crouch?
Did you take the controls directly from amnesia? XD
Like shift to run.
Re: Control to sneak
#2......So you can sneak past the MTF'S and take cover when they spot you.
My name is John...Yes you can call me that...Yes it's a bland name, but it gets the job done.
I Warhammer 40K harder than you.
Re: Control to sneak
#3What would you have as a crouch then otherwise? Same with sprint? It's probably the best control scheme to go with the WASD set-up.
Crouching has saved me quite a few times, mainly in the offices. I hid behind the desks from the MTF once, and they went along on their merry way after a brief search.

It slep time bunner.
Re: Control to sneak
#4Amnesia didn't invent using shift to run.SalmonHeart88 wrote:Did you take the controls directly from amnesia? XD

I'm pretty sure that every game that uses a WASD setup uses Shift to run and Ctrl to crouch.

Re: Control to sneak
#7Pointless or not, I like that I have the ability to crouch. It makes it more realistic somehow. Also when SCP-096 is running around somewhere chasing me, I usually just go and crouch in some corner. I think it's what I would do in real life when that thing is chasing me haha.

Re: Control to sneak
#8Crouching is actually surprisingly useful...Sometimes. Other times it just doesn't seem to matter for me, I still get spotted.
