A Year has passed by. This is what you've been waiting for. This Event is a successor to Year I's Anomalistic Lunation Event. Our goals are still the same: to garner and show support for the arrival of new SCP Content. However, this Year, I have another goal for this Event to accomplish: to Challenge everyone and for them to overcome their limits. To recap last Year, this community has seen two new version releases of SCP Containment Breach as well as continuous updates made to Containment Breach Unity Edition by zornor90 and his Dev Team. Furthermore, a few notable SCP games have been created, such as SCP 2D and SCP: Secret Laboratory. To see many games created in light of SCP's growth is truly gratifying and marvelous. For that, I aspire for this Event to be just as successful as last Year's, perhaps even more so than last Year's.

Shout-outs to BattleForge, ItZoTom, & Nepheron. They truly are players of SCP as they constantly share SCP gameplay footage. If they ever so desire to, they are more than welcomed to participate within this Event.

About the Event
Spoiler
Anyone can choose to participate within this Event in a variety of ways. To do so, properly complete the Form(s) associated with how you would like to participate within the Event. As a Challenger, you are accepting the call to slay all 6 Advanced Challenges. As a Saboteur, your goal is to prevent Defiers from completing their Runs and Sabotage their Streams via Challenges. Defiers are Challengers who hold an expert knowledge of the game and have withstood against many Challenges of Anomalistic Lunation. Only a few were selected to become Defiers. As a Challenger, completing a Neophyte Level awards you 1 point. Thus, a maximum score of 6 Points can be achieved within the Neophyte Ranking Board. However, the purpose of Neophyte Challenges is to help you gain experience required to complete Advanced Challenges. Completing an Advanced Level awards you 1 Point, but you can gain an additional 0.2 points if you decide to fulfill the Side Challenge's Requirements. Thus, a maximum score of 7.2 Points can be achieved within the Advanced Ranking Board.

This Year's Advanced Levels will be more difficult and rigorous than that of Last Year's Levels. For those who wish to receive immediate Announcements, News, Information and Advice in regards to the Event & its Challenges, I highly recommend you to join our new Discord Server. For more information in regards to the Event, Read up on Full Rulings & FAQ found within the Links Section of this Post.
Event Structure
Spoiler
• CntrlVee's, Craymotherlol's, & Precipitator's Rerun of Anomalistic Lunation Level 5 ▬ The Top Finishers of Anomalistic Lunation will have a chance at Redemption to defeat the hardest Challenge of Anomalistic Lunation. Each Rerun will only last 1 Day.
• GlitchFest Challenges ▬ Though not having its own Ranking Board, GlitchFest Challenges are Levels that are designed to showcase current Glitches that can be found ingame. As a result, Rules #2, 6, & 7 For Challengers & Defiers can be ignored when attempting these Challenges. Instead, the usage of SCP v1.3.9 is required to complete such Levels.
• Neophyte Challenges ▬ These Challenges can be thought of as Levels designed to help you gain a better understanding of the game. As a result, Rules #2, 6, & 7 For Challengers & Defiers can be ignored when attempting these Challenges. Instead, the usage of SCP v1.3.9 is required to complete such Levels.
• Advanced Challenges ▬ The Event's Essence can be clearly seen when taking a look at these Challenges. These Challenges are extremely difficult. No mercy will be shown.

Rules For Challengers & Defiers:
Spoiler
1. Record ALL gameplay footage and set-up of your Run.

2. Only use the Professional Mod to participate within this Event.

3. Heed every word stated within the Challenge.

4. Never use the Command Console. Unless otherwise stated, any instance of using the Command Console will nullify your Run. The exceptions to this rule are the following:

▬ Do not use the Command Console to spawn in healing items that have not spawned in. However, concurrent disappearances of such items can be met with the usage of the Command Console to spawn the 3rd healing item you should have encountered. If you have passed on the opportunity to use the Command Console, you may not later spawn in such an item.

▬ On the premises of saving, if you are continuously disallowed to save on 2 different monitors due to bugs within the Run, you may use the command console to save besides the location of the 2nd monitor.

▬ If you have fallen through the floor, you may use the Command Console to ONLY fly back previous to where you have fallen off.

▬ If the ONLY progress-making way is inhibited by an invisible wall, immobile object, or unfloored platform, you may use the Command Console for the sole purpose to fly through such objects.

▬ Reasonably and strictly use the aid of the Command Console to complete a bugged/glitched map seed. Progress through it as if it was a normal Run. If much of the features of the aforementioned map seed is absent, your Run will be void. Inform any Supervisor the name of such a map seed.

5. Do not exploit glitches to your advantage.

6. Ensure that your bannedseeds.ini is updated before each Run.

7. Do not change FOV’s default value of 73.74 within options.ini file.

Oh boy I can't wait for this to start. Especially with the amount of livestreams being hosted around similar times. I can't wait for Nepheron to do this she actually does these challenges with strategy and humor despite not talking for the majority. But with the occasional head bobbing :)

All GlitchFest Challenges Have Been Posted

Just to clarify a couple of notions:
• Everyone can still sign up to become a Challenger and Saboteur
• Neophyte Levels 1 & 2 Will be Released 2 Days from now

Unfortunately, due to time constraints within her schedule, Nepheron has declined the offer to participate within this Event as a Defier. In place of her, Flipsy has agreed to become a Defier.

SCP Professional Mod Has Been Released

Neophyte Levels 4 & 5 Have Been Posted

A Few Revisions to the Rules For Challengers & Defiers Have Been Made. Here are their Revisions:
• Rule 6's "bannedseeds.txt" has been revised to "bannedseeds.ini"
• Rule 7 Has Been Created. It states: Do not change FOV’s default value of 73.74 within options.ini file.

Due to the late arrival of the Mod, SCP Escape - Year II Event has been extended to July 25th. Players can still sign up to become Challengers & Saboteurs until July 11th.
