[Suggestion] D-9341 memoirs

This idea is about an unlockable diary that would be present in an "extras" section of the game. It would talk about the past of D-9341. However, it wouldn't be complete the first time you open the game, each time that you complete the game in keter mode it would unlock a page of the diary. Here's an example:

"xx/xx/xxxx

Today my wife left me, she was furious with me because I was fired. I have no idea if she was right, maybe, maybe not. But I don't feel so sad, she didn't love me, and I am free from her chains now...

xx/xx/xxxx

The bar was silent. I was in my 7th beer when suddenly a man appeared next to me, I didn't pay attention and continued drinking. He kindly talked to me, he asked if I am unemployed. My answer was "I don't remember...", then he knew that I indeed was, and that I was affected by that, so he showed me a paper, "I can offer you a work." he said... I didn't care about what it was, I accepted without hesitation.

Remember that this is just an example. Tell me you opinions.

Eh. I think that's too much unnecessary info.

I prefer D-9341 as a blank vehicle for the player and nothing else.

Why does everyone say that D-9341 is male, when he/she is the player? Is it just because of the 012 scene and the breathing sounds? I usually just replace gender-specific sounds with my own voice, so I'm more immersed in the game.(yet I can't do anything for the MTF that shouts, "There he is!")

Yup. That's why Half-Life and Doom have it. Immersion.

This was just an idea to add a background story to the game. You have a point, and in I share it a little bit.

I don't think it's a bad idea; it would certainly give me a reason to play keter mode. Hell, any unlock-able extras in the game would make me happy. I never have thought D-9341 being a vessel for the player, I thought I was playing as a criminal with a hidden background, and it certainly didn't take away from the immersion.

An equivalent thing had happened to Samus Aran, that didn't end well.

The Class-D personnel aren't necessary convicts, except in the most extreme cases, but in general Class-Ds are contracted people.

Unwilling contracted people.

I don't think that is a good idea to have backstories about Class-D Personnel.
