[SUGGESTION] Sub-areas...

I think that the areas of the game could have a "personal sub-area" with specific pourposes and look for giving the facility a more realistic and less repetitive feel; said mini-areas would be smaller (more or less the size of the Entrance Zone, that is always the smallest area in the map...) and they couldn't connect to other "big ones" (that means that ceckpoint rooms to the Light Containment Zone/Heavy Containment Zone/Entrance Zone can't spawn in them...)
WHY THEY SHOULD BE IN THE GAME? : They could be used to give the facility a more organized and realistic feel; other than expanding the facility a bit (5-6 extra rooms, not that much...) and adding different-looking places, that is always a good thing if you want to avoid boring the player by making them see always the same rooms...

More ore less the corridors' size and shape could be like the hallway in the image: but with lamps on the roof other than LED lights and the textures could be more similar to the Light Containment Zone's textures; there would be less doors (the doors would be placed only for connecting rooms and hallways...), shorter corridors and a slightly higher roof. There could be a grate on the ceiling in the 4-way and 3-way corridors where SCP-173 could have a low chance of spawning...

There would be a big sign with "Testing Area" written on it attached to the wall over the door.
Where can you find the Checkpoint Room to that area?
In the Light Containment Zone.

SCP-038 (Regalis said that he could add some of the SCPs added in the "Box of Horrors" MOD, if SCP-038 is gonna be added it could be placed there...)

1) Testing room dead-end
The room could be a new dead-end, you enter inside and you find yourself in a testing room similar to the Small Testing Room (the room where :173: , aka SCP-173, breaks the glass...). In the room there could be a control panel (with no interaction, like some control panels in SCP-106 or SCP-012's room placed near the ones with buttons/levers on them...), a chair and a shelf (with some aesthetic piles of documents on it); other than a button that leads inside the testing chamber but it's not working.
The room could be a variant of the standard red dead-end that would spawn only once in the area (and the level, it's not a common room...), since that room does nothing too...
2) Lab
The room could be an "aesthetic dead-end" that you could find (you would need at least a "Level 4 KeyCard" to enter in the room), it could be a rectangular room where there could be some tables with chemical enstruments on them (things like test tubes, beakers or flasks...), a First Aid Kit on a box and a document about an experiment on some kind of SCP...
In my opinion, it's a shame that a ultra-secret underground base doesn't have any chemical lab...
Even that room would spawn only once in the area (and the level).
Possible events:
1) SCP-173 comes from a grate on the ceiling
3-ways and 4-ways corridors would have a grate on the ceiling and SCP-173 could have a low chance of appearing; when he appears the screen could get black and then you see him on the floor with the fallen grate near him... (like the event where he appears in a corridor in the HCZ...)

Bio-Hazard Containment Zone:
NOTE: I've already posted a topic about that idea but I thought about it and I got how much it sucked ( :laugh: ), so I decided to "revamp" it a bit...
How it could look:

Like this, but without SCP-106's corrosion on the walls (obviously...) and not-grated floor and ceiling; the floor should look like the floor in SCP-513's containment chamber (but with darker colors) and the ceiling could be a darker brownish recolor of the Light Containment Zone's wall texture, other than beign a bit higher. There could be lamps on the ceiling, so the place isn't too dark...
The walls on the sides could be the same as the grated hallway in the image above, and there could be some pipes near the walls (like the pipes that you can find in the Small Testing Room...)
The main difference between this area and the other ones should be the presence of zombies that you could find lying on the floor (there would not be so many of them, something like 2-3, and a room can have only 1 zombie in it...); if you go near one of them it could get up and start chasing you if you are unlucky. They should not be such a threat since the zombies in the game are slow and weak, you could just close the door on their face and they would not know how to open it...

There would be a big sign with "Bio-Hazard Containment Zone" written on it attached to the wall over the doors, the sign sould be in the middle of the two doors.
When you enter one of the two little rooms the door behind you closes and a not-dangerous white smoke gets sprayed from the roof for some seconds (it's supposed to be a sort of decontamination room; but it would not cure you if you get affected by SCP-008 or the illnesses that you got by reading SCP-1025...), then the other door gets open and it closes itself when you step out of it...
Where can you find the Checkpoint Room to that area?
In the Heavy Containment Zone.
SCPs in the area [ALREADY IN-GAME]:
SCP-008
SCP-035 + SCP-148 (they are both in the same containment chamber...)
SCP-049 (in his underground area, that you can reach using the famous elevators...)

NOTE: The elevators to SCP-049's area could spawn randomly both in the Bio-Hazard Containment Zone and the standard Heavy Containment Zone, there could be a dice roll when the map gets created to decide where they could appear...

SCPs in the area [POSSIBLE FUTURE SCPs]:
None...
Special rooms in the area [NEW ONES]:
1) Storage room
It could be a dark, tiny rectangular room with some aesthetic boxes and shelves with piles of papers in it, you could find a Gas Mask on a little cabinet (like the cabinet-things that you can find in the starting room with the Gas Mask and SCP-173's document)...
That room could spawn only once in the area (and the level)...
2) Hazmat Suits' room
A slightly bigger version of the tiny room inside SCP-008 and SCP-035's containment chamber where you can find a Hazmat Suit, but there are none of them inside (it should be a new, smaller, dead-end...)
It could be a rare room that could spawn only a few times (1-2 times...) in the area...
3) Rectangular testing room
A room that looks like SCP-035's containment room but completely empty, it could be connected to a side of a 2-ways corridor with a door with a broken button placed near the end of the corridor. There could be a window near the door where you could see a mutilated corpse of a scientist and some zombies wandering aimless in the room, presuming that he got killed by them before you could reach the room...
That room too should spawn only once in both the area and the game.
Special rooms in the area [OLD ONES]:
None...
Possible events:
1) A pipe falls
Since there should be a few pipes near one of the walls in the standard corridors of the area, one of them could secede and fall on the floor making a loud metallic noise. It could be a good jumpscare...
