Everytime I run the game higher than 2048x1536, the game starts with a black screen for several seconds and then an "unable to create 3d scene" appears, closing the game. Why can't I run the game at 3840x2160, the native resolution of my monitor?


Specs:
Windows 10
Intel Core i7-8700k @ 3.70 GHz
64 GB RAM
Nvidia Titan X (Pascal)

Because Blitz3D doesn't support resolutions higher than FullHD
