I can start the game up just fine and everything runs smoothly. However, the second i have to put on the gas mask, the game crashes and I get the Memory Access Violation popup. I have run the program with administrative privileges, I have run it in the comparability mode for windows 7 service pack 3 that was specified in an earlier thread. I have tried changing the resolution, the graphics card it uses, full screen and windowed, skipping intro and not skipping it and every combination of the sort. I have tried re-downloading multiple times it in case something became corrupted but it has stayed the same and have run out of ideas to try.

Lenovo thinkpad W530
250gb hard drive
20gb RAM
i7 core ( i think)
I have an Intel HD graphics 4000 card and an Nvidia Quadro K1000M GPU ( i have tried running with either)
i have no idea where to go so if any one has ideas as to how to fix this let me know
