I wish I could offer more solutions but I only come bearing more problems. My apologies. I will be working to find solutions for those after I've fixed the main problem at hand.

First off, some MAVs are unavoidable when playing on an 8.1 OS, but I've been having a consistent problem that apparently other Blitz3D users have encountered on a few different occasions.

This problem being, "User lib not found"

Apparently it is a problem with the DLLs but I have all of the necessary ones but a consistent variable I've seen in all of the other Blitz users error reports, and that would be the Freeimage.DLL.
I'm not sure if there is correlation between the errors, but without the necessary software (which I am lacking), I can't check and see if it actually is the problem. May anyone possibly shed light on the situation? If you need more info, I can provide.

I have discovered some Stuff too... I was in holiday and went on 2 computers... One was a Windows 7, XP Kind of thing and the other one is a Windows 8...
In the XP one I did not have any major bugs except when they updates the versions to the higher one 1.0.3, 1.0.4 it started not loading 3D things and not loading sounds properly ONLY ON MODS... This happens on both computers though with one mod it started to flicker like described on my Windows 8 computer... The most annoying thing is that it often says that it could not load the JANITOR! In many places... The most annoying one was when I went into SCP-860-1... What the Frick... Honestly

This probably has nothing to do with me having windows 8.1, but I think this is the best place to post it.
Bugs:

If I walk to the bottom of the large testing chamber, it gives me a MAV. Noclipping over doesn't give one.

I'm stuck in an area, upon moving out of this area, or moving at all sometimes, the game freezes, and I need to restart my computer because I can't access anything via that way. The rooms around me include 895's chamber, the room which spawns 096, and the entrance to the scientists zone. I can go into that are but it freezes upon reaching the same intersection every time.

If I die via something from 294, whenever I load the save I immediately die the same way. This is fixed if I restart.

Glad to see that a new addition to the forum is posting bug reports, but there are some things you should know. :)

1) Take a minute or two to look around the Bug reports subforum to see if someone has already documented the bug you experienced. It might even be fixed. Your large testing chamber bug has already been tested and reported by me, and fixed by risingstar64 (see thread below).

2) Please take the time to test the bugs you are experiencing. You can use my report as a template in the above mentioned thread. I totally don't mean to be mean or discouraging, but risingstar64, MonocleBios and the like have seen too many reports that are well... not reports. :laugh: It can get pretty irritating to them since they don't want to spend several hours or even days fixing a bug that can be fixed in a few minutes to an hour by the reporter just adding another detailed paragraph or so. I wouldn't blame them. :D

So again, thanks for reporting your bugs. It's great to see a new member to the forum, especially if you are a bug reporter like myself. :D

This is due to the fact that DeathTimer is not stored in the save file, meaning the game will not remember if you are about to die, and will not change DeathTimer when you activate QuickLoad. I added DeathTimer and BlurTimer to the save file, which should fix this and other issues that occur with 294 liquids and game saving, at the cost of breaking compatibility with old save files.

Hello, I thought I'd share a bug (I'm not completely sure if this is a bug, i just noticed this and it's one of a few that I've been able to recreate so far) I've come across.
Not sure if this stuff is relevant to the bug, but just in case, here's how I'm running the game.
-Windows 8.1 Professional
-Running the game in Administrator Mode
-Compatibility Mode set to Windows XP Service Pack 2
-Full Screen is disabled, resolution set to 1280x960
-Map Seed: ueqt52 (although, I've experienced this bug with a different map seed)

Alrighty then! Onto the bug.

I've noticed that when I've traveled through the forest (SCP-860-1) that occasionally the fog changes hue. Usually I see a light blue fog in front of me when I go through the first time. Second time around, I noticed as I was sprinting down the dirt path that the fog started to darken.

At first, I thought this was normal and the fog changed to creep the player out (it did for me at least). Plus, I couldn't find any other people here reporting something similar to this. If this is normal or already posted, I apologize in advance for wasting your time with this. Anyways as I continued, I came across SCP 860-2, triggering the chase music and SCP 860-1 coming at me. The fog also changes back to it's light blue hue.
