The converter isn't designed to be all that stable since it's just a developer tool, if you want to pinpoint any errors that pop up you should be running it through the Blitz3D debugger. I'm assuming that the reason it's crashing for you is because you're using it on a B3D file that doesn't follow the structure of a 3D World Studio mesh, which is what the converter was designed to work with.
