A while ago the Skullgirls development team got laid off as a whole because of Autumn Games' legal battle, forcing their plans for the game to a halt.

Yesterday they turned to the community for help asking for donations so they can add new characters and stages to the game and in LESS THAN 24 HOURS their goal of $150,000 was reached allowing them to finish the character they were working on.

Now all that's left is to reach the stretch goals they've set. Skullgirl's first male character, and one more character left up to a vote. We have 30 days left to raise the rest of the money so if you're feeling up to it donate. It's one hell of a game.
