I did everything... I enabled UPnP, port forwarded correctly, and disabled firewall from blocking the connection, BUT I STILL CAN'T JOIN IT JUST SAYS THAT THE HOST HAS NO REMOTE ACCESS! please help I'm getting frustrated but I really want to figure this out, I made this account just to ask for help!

Are you trying to join the server from the same computer you're hosting on? If so, you should not use the external IP (= the IP you see when you use something like https://www.whatismyip.com/), but "127.0.0.1" or "localhost". If you're trying to join a computer that's in the same local network, you should use the local address which is something like "192.168.0.xxx" - you can check it by opening the command prompt (Windows key -> cmd) and entering "ipconfig".

Okay, so I don't know how to find localhost iI don't have a folder named HOSTS but I have been using an internal ip.... I really don't understand this at all I wish I could just host a game without port forwarding. I have UPnP but for some reason nothing is on the portmap table when enabled!

Maybe this picture of the Netgear Nighthawk r8000 port forwarding tab can help you understand what I'm using: http://screenshots.portforward.com/rout ... ng_Add.htm

If you are port forwarding:

Protocol: UDP
External port: 14242 (default port)
Internal IP: IP of your PC (ipconfig in cmd, look for "IPv4 address")
Is there a Netgear video you know of that can help me understand this? I don't know how to connect to 127.0.01 but I have made a port forward that I know is right, I just need to figure out why the port forward isn't connecting to my computer (even though I put in the correct internal ip)

Thank you for the help so far though, I really hope I can get to the point that it works :)
