Many of you are familiar with it, but for those who are not, here's the story.
ERIE is based on a real event from 1966 - the Fermi 1 nuclear power generator has a partial meltdown,
and locals begin disappearing from a sleepy Michigan town. Oliver Victor, a Red Cross investigator (You)
is sent to find missing locals, but instead find yourself trapped underground with no way back to the surface.
The rescue mission quickly turns into a struggle to survive, as you discover what's been happening under the
nuclear power plant on the shores of Lake Erie (Hence the name ERIE). The game features extremely realistic
sound effects, so much that I've actually muted my headset to make sure the noises weren't coming from
outside my window or right behind me. What's worse is that I live 3 blocks away from Dearborn (The small
Michigan town that people are disappearing from), so it's especially frightening for me.
Also, there are several cats, notes, and other collectibles to find and give you hints throughout.
Did I mention, the game is free?
(You need to install Desura, it's kinda like Steam, but for indie games)

-You eventually escape into lake Erie, swimming back to land safely. There were no survivors - you find
all the bodies on your way out of the facility.
Re: A game called ERIE.
#2This is a very good game, I've played it before.
I never found a use for the Spray paint though (Except for drawing penis's).

I found it through a commentator named Penguinz0 (Cr1tikal).
All his jokes are original, he's literally never scared, and always
plays indie games instead of jumping on a bandwagon of what's
popular at the moment.
