That is correct, we did state that it was a pre alpha, the alpha should be out within the next month or so :) Just uploaded a status to facebook saying 'Our coders exams are finished! We've had people who have worked on all kinds of games, the guy that was head of Qualix Interactive made cinematics for AAA projects, I was also working with someone that worked on Turok for Xbox 360 at one point! Would you still like to help out with those weapon animations? :)

Blackout is currently on hold until we can earn a stable income, the project was far too large to work on for free :L And that team is unfortunately out dated, we've made the team slightly smaller, due to inactivity or people moving on to AAA companies (darn). We lost an animator to Riot Games a few...

Unity doesn't build games with the actual files in them, it compresses them to prefabs and what not, there would be no way to retrieve any of ...

Blender3D for modelling, animation and texture, (GIMP to make textures). Unity for the engine and what not. We currently use .fbx formats for more or less everything!

Thanks for the good comments guys :) Glad you're all looking forward to it! MrPeanut, if you wanted to perhaps do some weapon animations, we'd be happy for you to help! Just be warned we have arm models with the gun too,
