Well, I do have some experience with C#, and can build some small programs with the aid of MS Visual Studio. I'm also learning how to code a game engine in C++. So I have a fair idea of what goes into it. But I am far from a good programmer as of now simply because I don't have a broad enough knowle...
If all this is the case, then I might actually find this to be better than the original. I will; however, miss the feel blitz3d brings to the table. In fact, I'm going through the same thing with Minecraft. But that's my only nitpick.
This is simply amazing! I'll have to play it for my channel some time. I especially love the dynamic lighting, and the smoke in the earlier video. For starter games, they look pretty good, I doubt I'll ever play them though. I tend to stick to only a handful of games.
That's what I thought. It's a little over the top in my opinion, but in terms of layout, it's actually a lot better than many other websites I've seen. The Stanford University website for instance. https://www.stanford.edu/
For me, it depends on the genre. Metroidvania: Metroid Prime Horror: Amnesia : The Dark Descent Sandbox: Minecraft Action Adventure: Zelda Twilight Princess/Majora's Mask RPG: Dark Souls
All are the best of their fields so to speak. Well, that I've played of course.
