I'd like to see some hands. I agree with Ominary about the voice though; the character would kind of break the mood. Panting sounds OK... a little alluding to Slender, but still. Screams, in my eyes, are cliche, and would break the mood as well. Still, my favorite is the hands. No floating body plea...

I think that the idea of having achievements in the game would be a nice addition. It would add a lot to the replayability and make it more worth while to replay even after you beat the game. You could make so that once the player beats the game there would be an achievement mode that will let you ...
