Taking actions for double posts or necroposts is up to the moderator in the first place, nobody needs to point it out and we WILL know if any action if necessary. Pointing it out and telling the user to stop over and over again pretty much is backseat moderating and that should be avoided. I'm not targeting anybody here, but it has happened too much now, and i've already sent PMs to some people in the past to stop those actions.

You could just let necroposted threads die down if you're not interested in the topic anymore but sometimes revival can still happen and it's not even a bad thing.

The fact to avoid doube posting is more of a recommendation rather than a strict rule, double posting can happen if the user wants to bring attention to his post since editing can sometimes cause people not to notice, especially if the thread has low activity. Necroposting can also be allowed in the cases it's a valid post asking for example help with something or trying to contact the creator of something, if the topic is necroposted to say something pointless then the adequate actions will be taken pretty much.

Rules have been needing a update for long now. Expect changes with them soon.

Amen! Some people around here are strangely fussy.

I never really saw "thread revival" as a bad thing. I mean, if someone is interested in an inactive thread, they can't post on it? It seems kind of unfair to those who are interested in inactive or semi-inactive threads like Six-Eight-Two. I hope this problem is worked out by the mods. It would help the SCP:CB Forum newbies alot.

Yeah, where are they? Did :682: get mad at them for making a game about him and killed them?

1. The last post was two days ago.
2. Even if this thread was dead, your post would still have been unnecessary.

On-topic:

I remember reading somewhere that the development goes very slowly because Divinity has other things to do. Not hoping the project is dead though, I really like the game, but it's very buggy in it's current alpha state.
