[HELP] How to convert b3d files to fbx or dae and keep animations?

I've tried the following processes:

Open in fragMOTION, save as ms3d, open ms3d in MilkShape, export as fbx. This worked for 096 but for 049 it only extracts his face. If you delete his face from the scene it extracts nothing. Yes I have tried selecting his body before exporting

Open in fragMOTION, export as .X, import into Blender, export as fbx. This results in the bone rig being all messed up and the animations not porting over once in Blender. fragMOTION reads this new X file just fine

Open in fragMOTION, export as .md2 (Skeletal option and Vertex option both create the same result). import into MilkShape, export as fbx. Model is there and is really small, but no animations.

I would prefer to keep this process free so Ultimate Unwrap 3D is an absolute last resort for me. Thank you for any help! :)

To anyone who finds this in the future, I've solved this by exporting from fragMOTION as ms3d, then using Blender's ms3d plugin to import into blender, then I exported from Blender.
