Sadly, I don't think that is possible with Blitz3D. Though, Bump mapping could be a possibility, but Bump mapping isn't used for the Gravel, nor grass in game.

EDIT: There is a grass sprite, but I think that is used for the Forest.

ALL TEXTURES ARE AT A STUNNING 4096x4096 RESOLUTION! EVEN A WINDOWS XP COULD HANDLE IT!
Even though Windows XP is crap compared to more recent OSs, I think it's more about computer specs than anything else.
I have a computer with only 1 gig of RAM (technically 895 or so megs) and no graphics card. Even though it was running Windows 7, SCP:CB still ran pretty darn slow.

Just a thought. :)
