Has anyone noticed when SCP-106 appears, his theme dosen't play? This can be a problem when trying to know when you have outrun him or not.

The theme only commences when he is on active movement on the site, following you.
It's always played for me, never heard of it not

He called it "Silence in the Night" because he (supposedly) can't hear it in the game.

Ok, this question isnt really on topic, but it's kinda important, if SCP 106 can go through walls, why dosent he just escape from his containment cell?, or just sink into the floor and pop out somewhere else?

There is like an electrical force keeping him in his container the first switch is the most important one, but if you get in that dr. office with a keycode, youll realize it doesn't always work.

He can escape (in the lore), but look at this:
Continued research and observation have shown that, when faced with highly complex/random assemblies of structures, SCP-106 can be “confused”, showing a marked delay on entry and exit from said structure. (His container).

SCP-106 appears to go through long periods of “dormancy”, in which it will remain completely motionless for up to three months. The cause for this is unknown; however, it has been shown that this appears to be used as a “lulling” tactic. SCP-106 will emerge from this state in a very agitated state, and will attack and abduct staff and cause gross damage to its containment cell and the site at large. SCP-106 will typically enter a dormant state after finishing with a lure subject.
