The game engine is Blitz3D, made in the dinosaur age. That means some modern computers won't be able to run the game since the whole thing works strangely.
Fortunately, Answer42 is making a C++ port of the game, allowing for more features, like higher compatibility and better graphics, unless something goes wrong.
Re: Game crashing gfx driver; entire system
#2Maybe your drivers are outdated/too updated or something. It's likely to be your graphics card/driver, Blitz3D doesn't support some of the modern ones. Markiplier has compatible hardware/drivers, but you don't. It's not that your hardware sucks, Blitz3D sucks at using your hardware.Zepher-Tensho wrote:So you're saying my computer may actually be too good to play it <w> great.
Tho it makes me wonder how youtubers like Markiplier can run the game just fine on a system that can play practically any game. Meh, must be something in my specs, or the gfx card itself.
Re: Game crashing gfx driver; entire system
#3Damn Blitz. Time to build a time machine and give the devs tech from now so this game can be compatible with your computer. No disregard for the timeline whatsoever.
