Re: Tips for new players?

  • Bleed is a major contributor to deaths; always carry bandages.
  • Never rely on others to get shit done, that's a great way to lose.
  • When medic, don't waste meds on downed people; instead give them CPR (as long as they aren't bleeding) until they get up, it works for all injuries.
  • If you see blood coming out of whoever you're giving CPR too, for the love of fuck, stop giving CPR and stop their bleeding.
  • Autopilot is shite (except for maintain), learn to pilot.
  • Adding to that, if you set the sub to maintain and then it sinks, it will go back to where you set it to maintain after the sub is repaired, leaving anyone outside behind.
  • Using a health scanner HUD, you can see if people are infected with velonaceps calyx as long as they are at least in the non-talking phase.
  • As traitor you lose if you are handcuffed at round end.
  • When you die as a traitor, you are no longer a traitor as you lost.
  • In BTE, you can start up the fusion reactor insanely fast by putting a thermite tank in it.
  • For BTE, read my engineering guide on the forums.
  • As medic, craft auxiliorizine: heals twice as much as corrigodone.
  • In BTE, food heals more than meds, even a protein bar. They don't heal downed players though.
  • Never eat mantcrawl cocktail or husk caviar someone cooked for you; it's probably poisoned.
  • In BTE, stun and bodybag people who are husked to prevent collateral damage.
  • Spoiler
In BTE the plasma torcher kills an endworm in under two minutes.
