I bough Barotrauma day ago, and i love it ! But i am missing one class, the cook, is it possible to make hunger system and add cook ? Would be cool, and make some real progression, maybe start in a small submarine and upgrade it later on as you progress ? or maybe make your character save level and equipment after you change the server ? Now game feels too arcade. thank you for your time.

I don't think that hunger in the base game would be a good idea. As a mod, maybe?
As for the upgrades... Sure! Being able to modify your sub in between missions would be cool.

I think something similar to this was in BTE and from my understanding we will being seeing it somewhat soon as the devs tried to make the steam version compatible with mods from legacy

I have seen a couple subs from the legacy edition in barotrauma as well
