Self explanatory title. I've found no place that explains how they work, me and my friends would love to know their usability.
The wiki isnt updated either

Well, here is a step by step tutorial:
1. Fill the depth charge with an explosive like C4,IC4, Compound N, etc.
2. place thefilled depth charge into a depth charge loader.
3. trigger the depth charge tubed linked with the loader with a button, for example.
4. the depth charge will be shot out and will explode its content on impact.
So in short, its filling a non-damage railgun shell with C4 and firing it to the ground.
As an side Note, the nuclear depth charge DOES NOT Need to be filled with C4 in Order to be dealing damage, the normal one does, however.

I dont seem to have found a button then. Is it shot out with the railgun? Or is it shot out in a specific direction?

Use a depth charge tube. Link this one to a depth charge loader. (Using the editor)
And then simply trigger the tube with a button.
Also, yes ist is Shot in a set direction: Down

I'm getting an error where my depth charges explode in their tubes. Blows up the bottom three floors of my submarine.
