I'm really dumb when it comes to downloading things. How can I make Barotrauma playable?

I downloaded Barotrauma(simple enough), but what do I need to do to make it playable? I extracted it, but it won't launch.
It's worth mentioning I'm horrible when it comes to computer stuff that isn't steam related. I know, I suck.

Open the extracted game folder & click on the Launch File
For Windows Run : Barotrauma Launch.exe
For Linux Run: Lanuch_Barotrauma

I downloaded Barotrauma as well and I extracted it and everything, but it won't launch. Is an internet connection absolutely required?

Nope, Internet is not required to run Barotrauma.
Are you getting any errors when trying to run the game & if so what is the errors?
Also what is the file name your trying to run? Asking this to make sure you are trying to run the proper game file.
