Do I really need a megabeast PC with liquid nitrogen cooling to run a 2D game without stutters and low FPS? Come on, 0.7 was bad enough, but the low FPS only happened when playing with 10+ people in multiplayer, now I get FPS drops even in singleplayer.

P.S. no, I'm not playing on grandma's toaster, my PC can run space engineers, KSP and other games with many physical objects just fine.

I agree, I thought I could run Barotrauma pretty good. Because I can run plenty of other complex games. But apparently not. The more the game advanced harder it is to run. I basically have to be running Barotrauma and only Barotrauma for it not to crash.

The developers are aware, see https://github.com/Regalis11/Barotrauma/issues/115. I'm on pretty weak hardware and i get 20-30 fps usually, but occassionally it plummets to 2 fps, and stays that way for a bit. Any idea when in particular those lag spikes occur?
