When a husk is nearby and it hasn’t detected you it should have to ability to stumble upon your trail/scent where it will begin following it until it finally finds you, this would also work if a player is infected as he could see a sort of misty trail that they can follow to track people and the husk wouldn’t kill you from the inside out while your following it in the right direction as it would interpret it as you hunting other players to infect
