Multi-purpose-ing the Alien Generator and Artifact Holder

While rummaging around and doing some tests, i found out i cannot set any consumption rate for the Alien Generator to make it use the charge of the Alien Power cell.
If i were able to do this, this would become an interesting alternative power source i could use in future submarines.
The Artifact Holder alternatively could be used to charge the power cells while they are slotted in, giving the players more incentive to find these artifact holders in the alien structures.
I did notice they have a PowerContainer, but do not have a ConnectionPanel, so i can't hook them up to something to use the generated power and yet they also do not seem to charge my power cells nor batteries. A waste of an opportunity i think!

So i would like to ask if you could add (some of) these options so that creators (like me) can be even more creative with their submarines.
