The temperature signal from the reactor allows to know if reactor is overheating, but there's no way to measure the actual power output for both reactor and batteries.
The kilowattmeter can work like relay transfering power through itself and sending the signal according to power amount. It would be useful to detect overloading or enable extra batteries in case of low voltage.
