S.U.E. (Stupid User Error) Thread

[Update] I figured out the railguns with some simple math and adjustments. Since I have a few more questions it might be best to keep them contained in this thread.

Alright, I managed to moronically mess up the railguns on such a level that they spazz out from one rotation limit to another, until they temporarily settle on aiming at the sub. Sop uh, just wondering what I bugged up here, because I'll admit the railguns themselves collide with the windows next to them, but I didn't think that would be an issue. But hey I'm open to suggestions on a good fix for this.

I feel like it's something really simple and I'm just being high level stupid here. Thought their rotation was fixed, but it definitely didn't work... Perhaps Railguns on the various tutorials should be expanded a bit, I'm sure I'm missing something simple but I just can't see it.

Posting the rotation values could help us understand what's causing the issue.

Also, it might be a good idea to just check the railguns on a vanilla sub and compare or even copy and paste the whole railgun.

Some minor adjustments and mathematics fixed the issue, however it seems that engines are rather unresponsive, I've used filtering it through junction boxes and without, but it just doesn't seem to actually apply and propulsion.

It might be a good idea to reverse engineer one of the vanilla subs to see how stuff works. It's what I did when I started retrofitting vanilla subs and then making my own.

For railguns to work properly, I've found that the Rotation X limit MUST be lower than the Rotation Y limit. This leads to odd angles like X: 340 Y: 460, but has so far yielded properly functioning railguns. Oh it also seems that the value CANNOT BE NEGATIVE.

Interesting, I've actually gotten Negative angled railguns to work. You guys ever figured out a good way to keep Junction boxes from overloading? I'm on limited space but they respond so oddly.
