If Telekill can't stop its effect, a ring that makes you tired won't.

The reason you don't die from 895 is because your too tired to go kill yourself (That or your too tired to notice it).

It's not the fact that the ring makes you tired which stops you from killing yourself, if you read the article, it says it blocks memetic effects. 247's illusion ability is a memetic effect, which should mean the ring will stop it.
