bugs so far:
-i had a map seed where i had to go through the storage room right at the beginning without being able to reach the vent control room --> dead
Thanks! Yeah I need to tweak my random algorithm slightly so there is always a path from the starting room to the vent control room.

They said the shadows look really weird and that you shouldn't mix spotlight dynamic lighting with light maps

Okay...good to know. I will look into those areas.
Also all of my lighting is realtime, so I'm not using any lightmaps.
As a sidenote, however, many games do combine both baked and realtime lighting to achieve awesome, professional results. Combining the two can be a challenge, but doing it right can lead to some excellent results.
