great update! i just played for some minutes, but it looks great. i like it when 106 follows you and suddenly pops out of the wall right next to you. i will get more into the game the next couple of days.

bugs so far:
-i had a map seed where i had to go through the storage room right at the beginning without being able to reach the vent control room --> dead

So i tested the latest version and the only problem i found so far was SCP-012 and SCP-372 labels are glitched otherwise this version is great :D

173 was able to get through the Lock Room doors and SCP-012's chamber door. (the door that leads to the stairs) Just a note, Vane Brain showed me a post on Discord about someone making a critique about the lighting. They said the shadows look really weird and that you shouldn't mix spotlight dynamic lighting with light maps https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/ ... /image.png

Thanks! Yeah I need to tweak my random algorithm slightly so there is always a path from the starting room to the vent control room.

Okay...good to know. I will look into those areas.

Also all of my lighting is realtime, so I'm not using any lightmaps.

As a sidenote, however, many games do combine both baked and realtime lighting to achieve awesome, professional results. Combining the two can be a challenge, but doing it right can lead to some excellent results.

Ahhh yeah...that's a known bug due to the world gen system not handling rooms > 20 x 20 units. I think I'll make that the next thing I fix, I don't expect it to be too hard.

So zornor for the 939 instances are you going to use the animation from the original game or are you going to re-do them ?

Oh dang, 173 and 106 at the same time! ;D

So 106 will despawn after a certain number of teleports, I'm pretty sure maybe one or two more and you would have made it out alive haha.

Definitely going to redo them. I'm thinking about hiring someone to do animation, so I can continue to focus on coding and development. If anyone has any ideas for good animators feel free to let me know!
