I made a large list of bugs in the bug report section (check it out if you want to) and I want to be sure that this is a bug before I list it as a bug (currently I don't know if the event is supposed to be set to always happen). Thanks!
POSSIBLE BUG: Tesla gates don't appear to be turned on in certain random generated maps (The one I found was near the starting area before the MTF arrived).

I believe Teslas can have their event turned off by default in some maps as part of the random generation. saw it happen in one of the first maps i ever played.
