Objective Checklist?

How would you guys feel if an objective checklist was put in? In either the top-right corner of the screen or the menu, a small checklist would appear for whenever you would have an objective. I'm an avid fan of the SCP Foundation, and it still took me a while to figure out how to win the game. I figure someone with no prior experience would have a difficult time figuring out what the heck they're supposed to do. It wouldn't be obvious (Some games have a huge arrow telling you where to go, it ruins the game), it would just be a small checklist.

For example, when the player would read the article on how to trap SCP-106, a small unchecked box would appear, whether it be in the menu or a corner of the screen, telling players to trap 106. It would also appear to tell the player to flip the switch back on when 079 asks you to, and to find Gate B when the player does flip that switch. This gameplay element would help guide the player, but not do it in an obvious way.

Spoiler:

If you actually reach the ending, you'll be treated with an ending screen and a box of achievements, anything you accomplished will have a check next to it.

Maybe on Euclid difficulty, but I still don't like the idea. The game is supposed to be free roaming, in which you go around figuring what to do. It kinda takes away the fun if you already know what to do.

Maybe on safe difficulty. If we ever get one. Maybe someday we can have an ultra hardcore mode, SUPR1337KETER.
