Me (and some guys too) annoyed, that MTF don't react to SCPs.
Let's make that MTF will shoot 008.
UPD1: Maybe, make zombies appears on Keter?

Think of this. Getting to heal the victims is a bad idea. Or maybe 500 could help the player get past through the 008 hazards. Is this good?

Uber idea: The zombies don't appear until the MTF go through an infected area ...
And there is no more MTF...

The foundation needs access to several specimens of fully converted SCP-008 specimens, as such a single human male infected (008-1) is kept in a containment pod kept under armed guard by no less then four MTF personal (These MTF being members of the "HazMaters" squad) at all times, along side a compliment of 10 local Guard personal.
In my own interpretation.
For gameplay terms the player could potentially come across a room with a trapped Guard/Scientist begging to be let out, if the player complies then either one of several scenarios occurs.
1. 008-1 emerges and attacks the survivor before attacking the player, now 008-1 is moving about the site.
2. The survivor shows symptoms of infection and either commits suicide or asks the player to kill them.
3. The player and survivor are infected via airborne particles of SCP-008.
If the player enters the room and 008-1 does not attack the player then further exploration of the room will find multiple dead MTF and Guard soldiers as well as the now broken containment pod, the player could find a surveillance camera showing most of the Guards/MTF abandoning their post to assist in containing SCP-106, who entered this part of the site, then suddenly SCP-008 is able to break containment and kills the confused remaining Guards.

Ooh, the zombies should use a similar system to the player when being shot at, namely the small chance of getting shot in the head. Visually they would look like they're getting shot in the chest, but they, like the player can get shot in the head and instantly die. I shall put together a lovely sound effect for when they get shot in the head. Also, would it be too much work to make their heads have a very small chance of exploding?

Showing an infected individuals symptoms should be easy, from the actual article.
Symptoms of infection with SCP-008 manifest no more than three hours after exposure, and include:
Flu-like symptoms with high fever, plus severe dementia in later stages.

When the player enters the containment room, they can now get a closer look at the surviving Guard, now minus Gas Mask/Helmet, and see more closely their flu like symptoms, and possibly the Guard suffering dementia.
