In what engine does this game runs on?

I want to help adding my five cents into the game, but I don't how this game works internally, and being sincere is the first big project I have ever tried to take part into.

Blitzmax at first, and Blitz3D now I believe.

I just downloaded it(the demo), thanks for the info.
BTW is Blitzmax3D, you got close enough.
