I don't think the MTF would try to destroy 173 or 106, as they are indestructible and they are sent in to contain them, not destroy them, thus the name SCP (Secure. Contain. Protect.) Not DDD. (Destroy. Destroy .Destroy.) But I see where you are getting at. The MTF would stare 173 down as they try to recontain it. 106, they would do the recall protocal. And 096 they would pretty much just lead him out of the facility as he is very docile.

Regalis has stated that in the next update, yes, MTFs will react to SCPs. They'll try to secure the facility first, recalling 106, containing 173 and 096, secure the power control room, and then they go for the player this doesn't mean they won't try to kill you if they have the chance, though) So yes, this will be added.

The MTF do need to see 173 though. I saw those bastards walk right by 173 as they chased me...

Also would they react or do something if they realised you had done the recall procedure? Yes, shoot you.
