Gate C?

(Can't take a picture)

I was playing through the heavy containment area when i found this long red room like the other dead end rooms, but it was a little different.

It wasn't as wide, the ceiling had a large pipe and it wasn't as long, could this be where gate C is going to be in a future update?.

I found this room too and was quite surprised to come across it. I'm not sure if it's a variation of the infamous "endroom" with the blast doors or a possible nod towards a Gate C, but it's certainly something.

Canonically the site only has two gates, Gate A and Gate B, a picture of this room would be nice.

I walked in there expecting some kind of attack, i guess its just the heavy conntainment variety of endroom,

will these endrooms ever have any use in the game?, i used to think they were placeholders for new SCP rooms, but when new SCP's are introduced, the endrooms are still there.

I don't believe they do have a purpose then otherwise to end off a certain pathway in the mapping algorithm. If you remember, they used to be these huge, square rooms with nothing inside before v0.3.

But damn, there's something incredibly menacing about these rooms and I don't like it. I really hope Regalis can add some sort of events to these rooms to tip off the horrible mood to them. I do like how there also is an Office version of the room as well.

I'm with Omniary on this one. This new addition is very suspicious. (Btw, anyone got a screenshot of this so called 'office version' room?)

Yep, pretty much this. It's just the default room for "dead ends".

No, something a bit more subtle, something that tells you, "nope, definitely not this way.."
